GHK-Cu vs SNAP-8
Two of the best-known cosmetic peptides, doing quite different jobs — a copper “signal” peptide for skin renewal against a “wrinkle-relaxing” peptide for expression lines.
Different jobs, both modest. These are topical cosmetic peptides, not injectable drugs (though GHK-Cu is also sold as a grey-market injectable, which is a different matter). As with all cosmetic peptides, the effects are modest and depend on the formula delivering the peptide into the skin. Nothing here is medical advice.

GHK-Cu
The classic copper “signal” peptide: it tells skin cells to renew and to make more collagen, aiming at overall firmness, tone and fine lines. It has real topical evidence behind its cosmetic use — the most of any peptide here. (Its grey-market injectable use is a separate, unstudied thing.)
SNAP-8
A “wrinkle-relaxing” peptide (acetyl octapeptide-3), an extended version of argireline. It aims to soften expression lines by dampening the nerve-to-muscle signalling behind them — the topical “Botox in a jar” idea, which is far milder than an actual injection. Its evidence is preclinical and the effect modest.
